About the event
Welcome to “Bliss Bodywork Adductor Journey”, a five-day exploration of the profound physical, emotional, and energetic dimensions of the adductors. These often-overlooked muscles are much more than structural stabilizers-they are the gateways to grounding, intimacy, and empowered boundaries.
In this course, we will journey into the heart of what it means to be rooted and embodied. Through yoga, bodywork, and thoughtful discussions, we will explore how the adductors influence our sense of connection-to the earth beneath our feet, to our own inner desires, and to the boundaries that shape our relationships with others.
This isn’t just a deep dive into anatomy; it’s a somatic inquiry into the ways we hold tension, develop intimacy, and build resilience. The adductors are woven into the body’s myofascial networks, connecting the legs to the pelvis, the diaphragm, and even the heart. As we unravel these connections, we’ll uncover how these muscles hold the stories of our boundaries, sexuality, and emotional stability.
Each day, we’ll balance physical practice with reflection and hands-on techniques, building an integrative understanding of how the adductors influence our bodies and lives. By the end of the course, you’ll leave with not only a deeper understanding of your anatomy but also the tools to embody empowered boundaries in every aspect of your being.

DAY 1 - Grounding in The Body
Morning Yoga:
The journey begins with grounding-feeling the earth through the length and strength of the adductors. Seated and standing poses become a way to connect to stability and presence, as we explore how the adductors anchor us in the here and now
Afternoon Discussion:
What does it truly mean to be grounded? We’ll unravel the relationship between the adductors and grounding practices, such as meditation and walking. These muscles don’t just stabilize the legs; they tether us to our inner world, drawing energy into the core of our being
Afternoon Bodywork:
This session is a deep dive into the health of the adductors. We’ll explore their connection to the TMJ, uncover the role of neuromuscular and acupressure points, and learn techniques to bring blood and qi into this region. By grounding into the adductors, we create the space to access deeper feelings and anchor ourselves in the body
DAY 2 - Establishing Boundaries
Morning Yoga:
Balance and twists bring the adductors to life as we explore their antagonists and synergists. These movements reveal how the adductors hold us steady, allowing us to find strength in our boundaries and adaptability in our flow
Afternoon Discussion:
Boundaries begin in the body. We’ll explore how the physical boundaries the adductors create—through stability and engagement—reflect emotional and psychological boundaries. Drawing from the ipsilateral subsystems, we’ll examine how the adductors contribute to balance and grounding, supporting a sense of wholeness
Afternoon Bodywork:
Through hands-on techniques, we’ll release and balance the adductors, bringing awareness to their role in creating personal space. This work is not just about the physical body—it’s a practice in building resilience and clarity around what we let in and what we keep out
DAY 3 - Embracing Sexuality
Morning Yoga:
Heart-opening backbends and hip-focused poses create a dialogue between vulnerability and strength. As the adductors lengthen and engage, they become a bridge between groundedness and openness, allowing us to hold space for intimacy
Afternoon Discussion:
Sexual shame and attraction weave themselves into the fibers of the adductors. We’ll trace their responses to development and intimacy, exploring the deep front line and other myofascial trains that connect the adductors to the pelvic floor, psoas, and diaphragm. This is the architecture of connection, where physical patterns mirror emotional truths
Afternoon Bodywork:
The art of the caress offers a way to transform boundaries into closeness. Through gentle touch and fascial release, we’ll soften the layers that hold tension and explore how safety and intimacy coexist. This is an invitation to feel into the body’s capacity for trust and openness
DAY 4 - Cultivating Groundedness
Morning Yoga:
Strength-building practices center the adductors, grounding the legs and pelvis to create a foundation of stability. Through intentional movements, we explore how physical strength translates to emotional steadiness
Afternoon Discussion:
Groundedness isn’t just physical—it’s a state of being. We’ll delve into how the adductors anchor us both physically and emotionally, creating a sense of safety and stability that extends into all areas of life
Afternoon Bodywork:
The fascial webbing of the adductors tells a story of interconnectedness. Through precise techniques, we’ll separate and hydrate these layers, creating space for freer movement and a deeper sense of rootedness
DAY 5 - Embodying Empowered Boundaries
Morning Yoga:
This integrative practice brings together the strength, stability, and openness cultivated over the past four days. The adductors become a symbol of embodied empowerment, holding space for clear and compassionate boundaries
Afternoon Bodywork:
We close with a session designed to weave the journey into the body. Through grounding touch and integrative techniques, we create a sense of wholeness and readiness to step forward with confidence. Empowered, aware, and deeply connected, we leave with the tools to embody our boundaries in every aspect of life
